Welcome to the home of my photography training website. I’m Ric and I am a professional photographer based in Manchester. I have been working in the Photographic, reprographic and printing industry for over 27 years. I am a full-time photographer and educator.

All of the courses are taught and have been written, researched and planned by myself. So you are in the best hands possible.

There are no more than 6 students on every course. This allows each student to have a fantastic learning experience and doesn’t allow anyone to get left out.

There are courses for all levels of photographer from the beginner through to the advanced. 1 to 1 photography courses and bespoke courses are also available.

Most of the courses are held in Castlefield Manchester, using a training room at the YMCA as a base. I am a fully qualified lecturer having obtained my Level 3 Award in Education and Training and also my Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training.

The courses are taught in a very practical way and even though I am a lecturer…you are not lectured, it is enjoyable. With the emphasis on teaching you practical skills that you can then use in your photography. There are no essays !
